Blue-White in Atlantic Canada
Blue-White Chemical Metering Pumps & Flow Meters
Consistent chemical dosing starts with equipment matched to the chemical, feed rate and system pressure. Blue-White offers peristaltic and diaphragm metering pumps, packaged feed systems and flow meters for treatment and industrial applications.
Flowstar helps customers across Atlantic Canada compare dosing technologies, review material compatibility and define control requirements for new installations and replacements.
Equipment Selection
Start With the Chemical, Feed Rate & Operating Conditions
The right equipment depends on what you’re dosing or measuring and how the system operates. Flowstar can help turn those requirements into a practical equipment selection.
Identify the Chemical & Materials
Provide the chemical, concentration and temperature. Confirm compatibility across every wetted component, including tubing, diaphragms, seals, fittings and meter bodies.
Define the Operating Range
Include minimum and maximum feed or flow rates, discharge pressure and suction conditions. Note off-gassing, viscosity and changes in demand that could affect performance.
Confirm Controls & Installation
Identify power supply, control signals and required feedback. Review connections, mounting space, environmental exposure, containment and maintenance access.
You don’t need a complete specification to start. Send your application details or existing equipment information, and Flowstar can help identify what else needs to be confirmed.

Find a Starting Point for Your Application
Start with what you need to do: dose a chemical, assemble a feed system, verify chemical delivery or monitor process flow. Explore the equipment below, then work with Flowstar to compare options against your operating requirements.
Chemical Feed
FLEXFLO® Peristaltic Pumps
Chemical Dosing • Off-Gassing Fluids • Low-Shear Transfer
Off-gassing chemicals and shear-sensitive fluids can complicate chemical feed. FLEXFLO pumps use rollers to move fluid through a replaceable tube, without check valves in the pumping path.
Tube-based pumping: Select the tube material for the chemical, concentration and operating temperature.
Industrial and municipal options: A-Series and M-Series models offer different capacities, pressure ratings and controls.
Maintenance planning: Review tube life, replacement access and Tube Failure Detection features for the selected model.
When We’d Recommend It:
We’d consider FLEXFLO when off-gassing, gentle handling or avoiding check valves in the pump head makes tube-based dosing worth evaluating. The tradeoff is a wearing tube: chemical compatibility, discharge pressure and operating hours influence tube selection and replacement planning.

CHEM-FEED® Skid Systems
Packaged Dosing • New Installations • Plant Upgrades
A chemical feed installation needs compatible piping, accessible components and a layout that fits the site. CHEM-FEED engineered skid systems bring selected equipment together in an assembled package.
Layout options: Wall-mounted, compact and larger configurations suit different installation spaces.
Pump arrangements: Single, duplex and triplex options are available within the range.
System configuration: Select piping materials, components and measurement options around the chemical and operating requirements.
When We’d Recommend It:
We’d consider CHEM-FEED when a diaphragm design meets the required chemical compatibility, feed range and pressure. Selected multi-diaphragm models also handle off-gassing chemicals, so that condition alone does not determine the technology. Compare check-valve cleaning and diaphragm inspection requirements with the tube-replacement needs of a peristaltic alternative.
Resources
CHEM-FEED® Diaphragm Pumps
Chemical Injection • Continuous Dosing • Water Treatment
Chemical feed applications need consistent delivery across the required operating range. CHEM-FEED offers conventional and multi-diaphragm designs, with model-specific materials, pressure ratings and controls.
Smoother feed options: Multi-diaphragm models alternate suction and discharge between two diaphragms to produce a smooth feed profile.
Chemical compatibility: Match diaphragms, pump heads, check valves and seals to the chemical, concentration and temperature.
Control flexibility: Select the model around your feed range, discharge pressure and required control signals.
When We’d Recommend It:
We’d consider a CHEM-FEED skid when the project needs a coordinated feed assembly rather than a pump alone. Review the included components, piping materials, mounting arrangement and maintenance access against the site’s requirements, including any equipment or connections that must be supplied separately.

Flow Measurement
SONIC-PRO® MS6 Flow Meter
Chemical Feed Verification • Low-Flow Measurement • Process Feedback
A pump’s setpoint doesn’t confirm how much chemical is reaching the process. The MS6 measures liquid flow in the chemical feed line, helping operators compare actual delivery with the intended feed rate.
Two measurement ranges: Select 10–5,000 mL/min or 100–10,000 mL/min around your operating range.
Inline ultrasonic measurement: Measures flow without a moving paddlewheel.
Control-system feedback: Configurable analog and pulse outputs support monitoring and integration.
When We’d Recommend It:
Consider the MS6 when you need measured chemical flow rather than relying on the pump setting alone. Flowstar can review minimum and maximum feed rates, chemical compatibility, calibration requirements and control signals to help confirm suitability.

DIGI-METER® Paddlewheel Meters
Process Water • Flow Monitoring • Totalizing & Control
Knowing the flow rate and total volume helps operators monitor water use and process performance. Blue-White paddlewheel meters provide digital flow indication, with selected models offering outputs for monitoring and control.
Flow visibility: Choose the display functions needed for flow rate, total volume or both.
Control options: Selected F-2000 versions add analog outputs, batching, alarms or proportional metering.
Installation fit: Match the sensor and fitting to the pipe size, expected flow range and installation requirements.
When We’d Recommend It:
Consider a paddlewheel meter for suitable water-flow monitoring or totalizing duties. Flowstar can review flow range, fluid cleanliness, pipe arrangement and required outputs to help identify the appropriate model.

Direct-Reading Flow Meters
Local Flow Checks • Water Systems • Process Monitoring
Operators don’t always need a digital display to check flow. Blue-White’s direct-reading variable area meters provide a visible indication at the installation, with different materials, scales and connection options.
Read flow locally: View the float position against the meter’s scale.
Match the materials: Confirm compatibility of the body, float, seals and fittings with the fluid.
Check installation requirements: Select the correct range and follow the model’s orientation and pressure-temperature limits.
When We’d Recommend It:
Consider a direct-reading meter when operators need a straightforward local flow indication. Flowstar can review the fluid, expected flow range, connections and installation conditions to help identify a suitable model.

Common Questions
Blue-White Selection & Application FAQs
Blue-White identifies off-gassing chemical service for FLEXFLO® peristaltic pumps and selected CHEM-FEED® multi-diaphragm models. Confirm the chemical concentration, temperature, suction arrangement and required pressure against the chosen model’s documentation.
There is no single replacement interval for every application. Tube material, chemical concentration, temperature, pump speed, pressure and duty affect service life. Follow the model’s maintenance guidance, review operating experience and plan access and spares for tube changes.
Control options depend on the model and configuration. Blue-White offers pumps with analog, pulse or other digital control options, and selected models support network protocols. Provide your required input signals, feedback and alarm functions so the correct model and connections can be checked.
Begin with the actual minimum and maximum flow rates, chemical compatibility and required output signal. The SONIC-PRO® MS6 is an inline ultrasonic meter designed for liquid chemical feed. Direct-reading and paddlewheel meters serve other flow indication or measurement duties; suitability depends on the selected model and installation.
Listings and certifications are model-specific. Blue-White publishes NSF/ANSI 61 information for selected municipal pumps. Check the exact model, configuration and project requirements against the current manufacturer documentation before specifying equipment.
