Progressive cavity pumps, macerators, controls and smart pump technology for viscous, abrasive, shear-sensitive and solids-laden media.
Engineered to Move the Most Challenging Fluids
SEEPEX progressive cavity pumps move viscous, abrasive, shear-sensitive and solids-laden media with smooth, low-pulsation flow. They are used across municipal, industrial and process applications — handling sludge, polymer, food products, chemicals and slurries — and are engineered for long service life, accurate flow and reduced maintenance. Flowstar is the Canadian supplier of the full SEEPEX range, providing application engineering and product-selection support.
How It Works
Low-Pulsation Flow for Difficult Media
Progressive cavity pumps move fluid through sealed cavities created between a rotating rotor and a fixed stator. As the rotor turns, these cavities advance steadily from suction to discharge, creating a smooth, continuous flow that is ideal for viscous, abrasive, and shear-sensitive materials—without the pulsation dampeners many other pump types require. Because flow is directly proportional to rotor speed, the same principle that moves thick sludge and polymer also delivers accurate, repeatable metering. From sludge and polymer to food products, chemicals, slurries and shear-sensitive media, SEEPEX offers engineered systems designed for long service life, accurate flow and reduced maintenance.

Product Families
A pump built for the job in front of it
SEEPEX offers a wide range of progressive cavity pump designs for general industrial service, metering, high-solids handling, hygienic processes and difficult pumping applications. Each family below links to its product brochure — or talk to a Flowstar engineer to match a model to your media, flow and pressure.
N Series
General industrial progressive cavity pumps for liquids with or without solids. The N Series forms the basis of the SEEPEX modular concept and can be mounted horizontally or vertically, with large spherical inlet openings for media containing solids.
Resources
SCT Technology
Smart Conveying Technology for reduced maintenance time and adjustable wear compensation. The split, retensionable stator lets technicians restore performance and replace wear parts in place, without dismantling the pipework.
Resources
Open Hopper Pumps
Designed for high-viscosity products, dewatered sludge, pastes and thick slurries. A bridge-breaker and auger feed force non-flowing material into the pumping element, keeping flow steady where conventional pumps would starve.
Resources
Metering Pumps
Accurate, repeatable dosing for polymer, lime, ferric, alum and other chemicals. Because flow tracks rotor speed almost linearly, these pumps meter smoothly and predictably across a wide turndown range.
Resources
Hygienic Pumps
Solutions for food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic applications. Cleanable, low-shear designs move sensitive and high-value products gently, protecting texture and product integrity.
Resources
Macerators
Protect downstream equipment by reducing solids and preventing blockages. Installed ahead of pumps and process equipment, macerators cut and condition rags, fibres and lumps into a manageable, pumpable consistency.

Smart Conveying Technology
SEEPEX Smart Conveying Technology simplifies maintenance by allowing easier access to rotating components and stator adjustment for wear compensation. Instead of removing pipework to service the pump, technicians can retension the stator to restore performance and swap wear parts in place.
The result is reduced downtime, lower labour costs and improved long-term operating efficiency — particularly valuable on abrasive duties where stator wear would otherwise drive frequent teardown.
✔ Faster maintenance
✔ Adjustable stator design
✔ Longer component life
✔ Less process downtime
Designed for reliability, maintainability and long-term operating value.
Why Engineers Choose SEEPEX
